“Faces”

Directed by Mallika Chandaria | Movement Directed by Dana DePirri | Danced by Nailah Cunningham

Our protagonist, Culture, reminds us that although we look around and see people as representatives of "culture", in the end it is an independent force that pushes, pulls, and drives communities. Culture puts on masks that represent each part of their journey through this series.

“The Shadow”

This piece was made in collaboration with floral brand, Brooklyn Blooms and The 98 Art Collective.

This piece reflects on the acceptance of “the shadow self” a concept largely accredited to psychologist, Carl Jung. How we can play and interact with our ‘darker’ side. It also celebrates the streets of Bed-Stuy in Brooklyn, NY and how that community moves together.
